Awesome. This has to be the first hoplite on DeviantArt I've seen that's wearing lamellar (an early form of Kevlar consisting of canvas, leather, and thin sheets of brass the majority of hoplites wore). Good job.

Not likely considering the Romans used very different tactics than the classical Greek phalanx. Indeed, Rome was influenced by Greece, but in the end, Rome took the path of world conquest rather than squabbling with its neighbors as did the ancient Greeks.
